Top Ways On How To Avoid Burnout

Everyone seems like they are burned out or exhausted and apathetic. Maybe it's the energy of the world right now. In this situation, what you have to do is to focus on being a human being. We are caught up so much in this rat race that we never step back. And think whether you should be doing this, or if it's going to be helpful or not. So you have to be able to step back and step away and take time. And take a moment to meditate. Dan Sullivan said, think about your thinking. And if you don't have time, then you need this most. There is this 80/20 rule. If you do 80 things, you will get the results for 20 of them. Just take a moment to sit and focus and see what comes up. You can even close your eyes and visualize. Just look down on yourself from a third party perspective and watch yourself doing what you're doing. And try to understand why you are running around or why you're stressed and burned out. Realize why you're overwhelmed and what you need to stop doing. And when you do this, you get a bird's eye view of yourself. Step out of your body and watch yourself, doing the doing and decide how much of this is actually important. And how much of this is actually getting you to your goals. If you're frequently burned out, tired and depressed, then you're burning yourself out.

When people think they don't have enough time, or they can afford it, it means that you need to do it. Because that's why you can't afford it. If you can't afford to take time or energy or money to step back for a few moments or a few hours or even a few days, then that is exactly what you need to do. You need to find a way and maybe have boundaries with people and avoid feeling bad. If you have no boundaries, you're gonna have chaos. And so make some strategic decisions and take some time for yourself. And put yourself first because as the saying goes, if you don't put your own oxygen mask on first on the plane, then how are you going to help anyone else put their mask on? Think about how you can help anyone else if you're useless or if you're burnt out. If you're not ready to give time for yourself that is just procrastinating and delaying on what you need to do.

There's a tool called Stephen Covey quadrants. Stephen Covey has actually found this from Franklin Roosevelt and it's a grid of four quadrants and you can rank all the things you need to do in your life. First is urgent and important and then, not urgent and important. Next is urgent and not important. And the final column is not urgent and not important. You can rank all the things that you need to do in these quadrants. When you do this, you actually achieve more things and become more successful and less burned out, you become more relaxed and you will have fun and be happy. You could have a list of things to do that is completely unorganized. And you can put them into these quadrants and what is important and what is urgent can be done immediately. Then next, go to what's important and not urgent. And then you can come to things that are urgent, but not important that are usually other people's fires. And then what's not urgent and important, avoid doing it and do it when you have nothing better to do and if you're totally relaxed. Some harsh news for you is that you are going to die with a list still. So be okay with that. And if you get done the 20% of stuff that's important and that helps you achieve what you want- the 20 that gets you the 80 percent of the results, then it's okay to let the rest of the stuff slip away.

It's very easy to hire assistants that are super cheap these days. You can hire people overseas or people that are experts are doing something faster, better and that will be easy for you as otherwise you have to do it yourself. Find ways to step back because if you're burnt out or useless as it is going to affect your sales, your conversions, your races, your promotions, your output, your outcome, your income and also your ability to produce results. So, find a way and drop something that's not important if you have to take care of yourself because nothing is more important than your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health. If you do this, it will make a big difference in your life and will get you being able to take more and more time, bigger and bigger steps and bigger blocks and you might just love it that way. When you're more centered, and grounded and present, everything's better, faster and easier.
