It is important to evolve your excellence as otherwise you get left behind. People will get promoted ahead of you, their businesses will succeed ahead of you, grow ahead of you and you'll be left in the dust. So how do we evolve our excellence to always be getting better and better and more fulfilled or happier, making more money and creating more success in our worlds and the worlds of people we touch as well. One thing is to always be learning, developing ,growing, taking courses. Courses are amazing , whatever it is. However it is the world of online courses and zoom courses now and this makes it very easy for us to grow and and learn about a subject matter. People come from all over the world now because we do courses on zoom live. Next thing is is mentoring. Recently I came across a term called legal stealing, that is especially from mentors who have overcome a lot of failure so steal their suggestions ,thoughts, advice, ideas, legally of course because they're your mentors whether it's a paid mentor or a donating mentor, someone who does it for the joy of it or maybe there's a a give and take. Always remember whether it's s a free group or a paid group, you need to pay the price that your dreams require. You're either going to pay now or you're going to pay later. So it'll always cost something and usually it's a lot less expensive now than it is later.
Reading books or maybe using blinkist- this creates either an audio or visual quick read version of books. It's just the summary of the books. Audiobooks are great while you're walking, driving, working out and put it on like maybe 1.25 or 1.5 or even double speed or two and a half speed if you can listen that fast. I find that it really works well ,you can get a lot of information. Avoid worrying that you're never going to remember anything, there's actually a lot of studies that show you have huge retention even if you do 1.5 or double speed.
Next is to take action and face risk. Some of the best ways to learn is to take action and either win or get feedback and learn. The word Failure can't be used here as failure is simply just a collection of things that didn't work in a temporary state and also where some of the most valuable lessons are learned. So take action and be okay not knowing the end result. Avoid trying to look good or truly being a know-it-all or being too proud because this will end up with your eventual failure even if you're a leader. Be humble, be vulnerable! That's how people can actually connect with you versus you trying to be someone perfect that no one can connect with. Stop making up things or pretending you know it all because people will see through that and they'll lose respect for you. You'll lose the authority and the leadership over them. Be okay being vulnerable, that's how people connect. Ask questions , seek advice ,go do some research or take a course.
So those are the keys to evolving. The more you learn, the more you earn and the more you can help others, the more happiness or fulfillment you feel. There's a lot of rich people in the world who are very depressed or lonely. Let's not be one of them , instead let's be happy, successful, wealthy, healthy, powerful and strong and also influential so that we make a big impact in the world.
