STOP Asking For What You Want; Start Telling!
People need to stop asking for what they want and start telling people what they want. If you ask, it gives someone the opportunity to say no. Telling them what you want is much more impactful. So avoid asking permission. Start saying that you want them like, "This is the salary income I need", "This is how I need you to talk to me", etc, instead of saying don't talk to me like that or don't do that. Our unconscious mind can't process a negative so that has about as much effort as trying to push an elephant uphill. So always communicate with people what you want. There is a tip called agree and repeat. If someone says something to refuse or tell you no, agree with them and tell them what you want. Be polite and charismatic.
Start telling people what you need and watch the difference or the magic and when you do tell people what you need, avoid your voice going up at the end. So you want a flat commanding statement but polite and charismatic however tell people what you want. It's often very subtle and we often don't realize we're doing it. Lots of people inflect their voice up at the end. So be very careful, be flat, be obviously modulate and articulate your voice because otherwise, people are not going to do it for you. So just a polite flat statement but tell them what you want.
